Virginia Court Denies Guardian's Motion to Dismiss in Non-Competition Case
The Eastern Division District Court of Virginia has denied Guardian Auto Glass' motion to dismiss in a suit filed by Glass America over a non-competition agreement. The court did approve a motion to stay while a legal battle is fought in Michigan.

Gov Vetoes Insurance Competition Bill
Governor Lincoln Chafee has vetoed a bill that would have sent car insurance rates soaring in Rhode Island. The legislation-which Call 12 for Action first reported on June 6-called for setting standards for declaring a vehicle a total loss if the cost to repair the vehicle is less than 75 percent of the value of the vehicle; require an insurer to negotiate payment for auto body repairs in good faith; and allow private rights of action by auto body shops against insurance companies.

KTM X-Bow to Go Practical with Windscreen, Doors
The track-focused KTM X-Bow is set to receive a windscreen and doors in a step toward practicality, opening the door (pardon the pun) to a greater number of potential buyers. KTM CEO Stefan Pierer told Top Gear UK that from March 2013 the Austrian brand will offer a version of its two-seater track weapon with a windscreen and doors.
