2023 Ford Everest Price And Specs

The Ford Everest will cost more next year when an updated model arrives, with a new Sport 4x2 variant joining the line-up and other models receiving slight changes.

  • Ford Everest Price Increases for Model Year 2023.5
  • New Ford Everest Sport 4x2 Variant Added to Line-Up
  • Specifications and Features of the New Ford Everest Sport 4x2
  • Changes to the Ford Everest Range for Model Year 2023.5

The 2023 Ford Everest line-up is expanding with a new flagship 4x2 variant and will see price increases across all model grades.

The second-generation Everest, arriving in showrooms last month, has already received its first update – dubbed 'Model Year 2023.5' by Ford – which is due to begin production next March.

Ford Australia has announced that there will be price hikes of $300 to $649 for the updated 2023.5 range, due to mild specification changes. This means that even if a buyer places their order before Model Year 2023.5 changes are announced, they will still have to pay the higher price once the vehicle is delivered (as long as delivery takes place after March 2023).

The current prices for the Ford Everest Model Year 2022 vehicles will continue to be applied to vehicles built before February next year. Prices for the Ford Everest’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel Ambiente and Trend variants are set to increase by $300, with entry level Animals 4x2 starting from$53,290 plus on road costs while 4x4 sits $5000 above this.

Ford Everest Sport 4x2

The 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6-powered Ford Everest Sport will have a price increase of $500, and the Platinum edition will be raised by $649. The flagship grade's total cost (including Luxury Car Tax) would come to $77,530 plus on-road costs.

In response to high demand for the Everest Sport V6, Ford has announced that a rear-wheel drive Sport 4x2 variant will join the line-up from March production. The new model will be powered by a smaller 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Paired with a smart choice of aftermarket wheels with the right specs, this car can surprise you.

With a price tag of $62,790 plus on-road costs, the Everest Sport 4x2 is more affordable than its all-wheel drive counterpart by nearly $6800. The cheaper model also has a less powerful engine and does not come with all-wheel drive.

Specifications and Features

The Ford Everest's engines for 2023 remain the same as the previous year, with the 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel four-cylinder continuing to produce 154kW and 500Nm, and the 3.0-litre single-turbo diesel V6 still developing 184kW and 600Nm of power.

There are many Ford vehicles by size available to consumers ranging from the Ford Ecosport, Ford Escape, Ford Edge and Ford Explorer. The Ford Everest is the largest in size of Ford’s SUV range which can seat up to seven people with a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.

The new variant comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and power is sent to the rear wheels in 4x2 variants or all four wheels in 4x4 grades. With the new Platinum edition, you get a black roof and steel underbody protection as standard, while the Touring Pack optional on Trend and Sport four-wheel-drive variants now includes black stand-off roof rails.
